Mine roadway & tunnel wall hangers
Primary duty — suspended on roadway wall brackets between main shaft substations and face transformers.
Product
BS 6708 Type 630 (3 screened phase cores, 3×35–3×150 mm²) and Type 631 (3 screened phase cores + 1 unscreened EPR earth core, 3×50+35 & 3×70+50 mm²) 3.8/6.6 kV pliable wire armoured mining cables with PCP sheath.
Typical values for this cable type, based on BS 6708 · IEC 60228 Class 5 — confirmed in the datasheet and quotation for your order.
Application fit
6.35/11 kV and 3.8/6.6 kV pliable wire-armoured screened MV mining cable to BS 6708 Type 630 & Type 631 for underground HV distribution.
Primary duty — suspended on roadway wall brackets between main shaft substations and face transformers.
Heavy galvanized steel strand armour protects HV cores against rock fall and haulage impact.
Semi-mobile roadway loops moved periodically with district switchgear.
Not designed for dynamic crane, TBM or excavator cable reels.
Use (N)TSCGEWÖU MV ReelToo stiff and large-OD for coal-face shearer cable handlers.
Use BS 6708 Type 307Construction
Three flexible IEC 60228 Class 5 tinned copper phase conductors (35–150 mm²) insulated with 5.0 mm EPR, wrapped with coloured identification textile tape and individually screened with a composite tinned-copper/nylon braid (plus one unscreened 5.0 mm EPR-insulated earth core on Type 631) are laid up in contact, enclosed by a 3.8–5.0 mm rubber inner sheath, 7/0.90 mm or 7/1.25 mm pliable galvanised steel wire armour and a 6.0–8.0 mm heavy-duty chloroprene outer sheath.
