Type G-GC is a round, heavy-duty, normally non-shielded 2,000 V portable power and mining cable. A typical construction combines three flexible copper power conductors, 90°C EPR/EPDM insulation, two integral grounding conductors, and one insulated ground-check conductor within a rugged thermoset mining jacket. It serves mobile mining and severe industrial equipment where equipment grounding and continuous ground-continuity monitoring are required. Exact dimensions, ampacity, conductor coating, jacket compound, wet rating, and approvals follow the selected model.
