Motorised monospiral reel
Primary duty: horizontal motor-driven and spring-driven crane, gantry and stacker-reclaimer reels up to 120 m/min.
Product
Heavy-duty 24-fiber rubber crane reeling cable (CRANE FO 2×12/125) with a 5GM5 elastomer outer sheath (DIN VDE 0207-21) and multifilament braid rated to 1,500 N continuous / 2,000 N dynamic pull for motor and spring reels up to 120 m/min.
Typical values for this cable type, based on DIN VDE 0207-21 (5GM5) / ITU-T G.652.D — confirmed in the datasheet and quotation for your order.
Application fit
CRANE FO 2×12/125 combines a thick 5GM5 thermosetting rubber outer jacket with a high-tenacity multifilament anti-torsion braid (1,500 N continuous / 2,000 N dynamic pull) to protect 24 optical fibers on motorized and spring-driven crane cable reels.
Primary duty: horizontal motor-driven and spring-driven crane, gantry and stacker-reclaimer reels up to 120 m/min.
Suitable for monospiral and cylindrical reeling drums with ≥ 250 mm minimum bend radius.
Can be used on heavy rubber festoon systems; for high-speed trolleys up to 240 m/min use the lighter PUR version.
Use FESTOON PUR FO 2×12 for 240 m/min festoonsFor high-speed vertical container spreader baskets, select the dedicated Spreader FO cable.
Use Spreader FO for vertical basketsBuilt for tensioned motorised reels; for free-coiling gravity baskets use a dedicated basket cable.
