TL;DR: This 68-second (1:08) video presents our 6/10 kV TEBAOFLEX (N)TSCGECWOU Submersible 3x50+3x25/3 mm2 (Part No. TEBAOFLEX2011BK) pump winch cable per DIN VDE 0250-813 (2026). It pairs schematic 3D 300 m winch and 6-layer cutaway animations (0:03 to 0:54) with real 4K 60fps sample video and 4000x3000 macro photos (0:00 to 0:03 and 0:54 to 1:02). Three 50 mm2 Class 5 tinned copper cores (IEC 60228, 2026), triple-extruded 3GI3 EPR (17 kV AC test), copper wire screens, and three 25/3 mm2 split earth cores sit inside a water-blocking inner sheath. An anti-torsion braid (+/-100 deg/m, 20 N/mm2 pull) and a black CM / 5GM5 outer jacket (47.2 mm nominal OD) seal the cable for 300 m AD8 immersion.
In deep mine dewatering sumps, flooded shafts, and offshore dredging, medium-voltage cables face heavy mechanical and water stress. They must endure 300 m water pressure (~3.0 MPa / 30 bar) and high vertical tension on surface winch drums. This video page examines our 6/10 kV (N)TSCGECWOU Submersible 3x50+3x25/3 mm2 cable through a 68-second 1080p 60fps walkthrough. It covers the 6-layer strip-back and real sample inspection footage (Sample Date: 2026.4.29). Below, you can watch the full video, check the scene log, review DIN VDE 0298-4 ampacity tables, and use our selection checklist. How Does the Video Illustrate 300 m Submersible Pump & Winch Reel Duty?
An (N)TSCGECWOU Submersible 6/10 kV cable is a medium-voltage flexible rubber reeling and vertical suspension cable built to DIN VDE 0250-813 for permanent 300 m AD8 immersion. It combines triple-extruded 3GI3 EPR insulation, copper wire screens, a water-blocking inner sheath, and an anti-torsion braid.
In Section 02 (0:08 to 0:21), a four-shot 3D animation shows how our 3x50+3x25/3 mm2 cable feeds a 6/10 kV submersible pump from a surface motorized winch drum.

- 300 m Deep Mine Sump & Dredging Supply (
0:08 to 0:11). First, the cable feeds6/10 kV(12 kVmax) three-phase power into deep open-pit dewatering sumps, vertical mine shafts, and subsea dredges. It operates under AD8 permanent immersion (up to 300 mdepth /~3.0 MPawater pressure). - Surface MV Winch Drum to Submerged Pump Gland (
0:11 to 0:15). Second, as shown above, one end winds onto theSURFACE MV WINCH DRUM (6/10 kV Motorized Submersible Reel). Meanwhile, the lower end seals inside the300M SUBMERSIBLE PUMP GLAND (Watertight Submersible Cable Entry). - Synchronized Pay-Out & Vertical Pump Hoisting (
0:15 to 0:18). Third, as the heavy pump is lowered or hoisted, the winch pays out and takes up the cable under tension. At20 N/mm2across3 x 50 mm2 = 150 mm2of phase copper, the allowable dynamic pull is 3,000 N. - Chute Guide Sheave & Anti-Torsion Zone (
0:18 to 0:21). Finally, as shown below, the cable bends over the chute guide sheave (R >= 10 x D = 472 mmin flexing duty). The braid resists +/-100 deg/m of vertical torque.

AD8 permanent water immersion is the highest water-resistance class under IEC 60364-5-51 and DIN VDE 0250, certifying that a cable prevents moisture entry under continuous pressurized submersion.
For example, if a standard trailing cable without a water-blocking inner sheath drops past 50 m, water pressure forces moisture along the core valleys into the motor box. To explore related cables, see our reeling cable product hub, our mining cable solutions, and our port and offshore cable guide.
How Does the 6-Layer DIN VDE 0250-813 Architecture Withstand 300 m Water Pressure & 6/10 kV Stress?
In Section 03 (0:21 to 0:39) and Section 04 (0:39 to 0:48), the video strips the (N)TSCGECWOU Submersible 6/10 kV 3x50+3x25/3 mm2 cable from its outer jacket (Layer 06) down to its tinned copper conductors (Layer 01).
DIN VDE 0250-813 is the German VDE standard governing medium-voltage (6/10 kV to 18/30 kV) EPR-insulated, individually screened flexible rubber trailing and reeling cables (VDE Verlag, 2026).
You can browse related German medium-voltage rubber cable types in our VDE / DIN cable standards catalog.
Layer 06 & Layer 05: Heavy-Duty Black CM / 5GM5 Outer Sheath & Anti-Torsion Braid (0:21 to 0:27).
The outer jacket (Layer 06) uses black chlorinated rubber (CM / 5GM5) per DIN VDE 0207-21 and DIN EN 50363-2-1. It resists 300 m immersion in salty, brackish, and acidic mine water (up to +40 deg C), mineral oil (IEC 60811-404), and sharp rock cuts.
Beneath Layer 06 sits Layer 05, an integrated anti-torsion reinforcing braid. It stabilizes the dual-sheath body against +/-100 deg/m pump start-up torque and 20 N/mm2 (3,000 N) reeling pull (DIN VDE 0250-813, 2026).
Layer 04 & Layer 03: Water-Blocking Inner Sheath, Copper Screens & 3 x 25/3 mm2 Split Earth (0:27 to 0:33).
Under the anti-torsion braid, we extrude Layer 04, a pressure-vulcanized water-blocking EPR inner sheath. As shown at 0:28 below, this inner bedding seals all three core valleys against 300 m (3.0 MPa) water ingress and locks the six-core geometry in place.

Inside the water-blocking inner sheath sits Layer 03 (0:31, shown below). Each 50 mm2 phase core wears a helical tinned copper wire screen. In addition, three 25/3 mm2 (3 x 8.33 mm2 = 25 mm2 total) split earth cores sit in the three outer valleys between the phase cores.

Layer 02 & Layer 01: Triple-Extruded 3GI3 EPR Insulation & 3 x 50 mm2 Class 5 Tinned Copper (0:33 to 0:39).
Triple-extruded 3GI3 EPR medium-voltage insulation is a three-layer dielectric system where inner semi-con, 3GI3 EPR insulation, and outer semi-con layers are co-extruded in one pass to keep partial discharge below 40 pC.
Under DIN VDE 0250-813 (2026), each 6/10 kV core undergoes a 17 kV AC (5-minute) routine test. At the center of each phase core (Layer 01) sits a 50 mm2 Class 5 fine-stranded tinned copper conductor (9.4 mm dia., max 0.393 Ohm/km at 20 deg C per IEC 60228).
Engineering Note on Tinned Copper vs. 3D CAD Rendering: Viewers will note that the labels at 0:37, 0:46, and 0:49 specify Class 5 Tinned Copper. Likewise, the real sample macro cuts (0:01 and 0:54 to 0:59) clearly display bright tinned metallic copper strand faces. By contrast, the schematic 3D CAD cutaway (0:22 to 0:52) uses a warm bare-copper shader for visual contrast against the white 3GI3 EPR wall. All production TEBAOFLEX (N)TSCGECWOU Submersible cables use Class 5 tinned copper for both phase cores and screens to stop salt and sulfide corrosion.

What Key Technical Specifications Are Confirmed at 0:48 to 0:54?
In Section 05 (0:48 to 0:54), the video summarizes the six key engineering ratings for (N)TSCGECWOU Submersible 6/10 kV 3x50+3x25/3 mm2 (Part No. TEBAOFLEX2011BK).

[UNIQUE INSIGHT] When sizing a 300 m vertical pump drop, engineers must compare the cable's dynamic tensile rating against its own suspended weight shown in Panel 04 and Panel 06 at 0:49 (DIN VDE 0250-813, 2026). Under DIN VDE 0298-3, the maximum tensile stress on the three 50 mm2 phase cores is 20 N/mm2, which equals 150 mm2 x 20 N/mm2 = 3,000 N (~306 kgf). However, this 47.2 mm OD cable has a nominal air weight of 3,000 kg/km (3.0 kg/m, or ~29.4 N/m in air and ~16.7 N/m in water after buoyancy). Thus, an unclamped 300 m vertical drop creates ~5,010 N in water (~8,820 N in air), exceeding the 3,000 N conductor limit! For vertical drops over 100 m, clamp the cable every 3 to 6 m to the steel riser pipe or wire hoist rope so the copper cores never carry the full 300 m deadweight.

How Do You Size 3x50+3x25/3 mm2 Submersible Winch Cables (DIN VDE 0298-4)?
When a 6/10 kV submersible cable runs from a surface winch drum into water (0:11 to 0:21), the submerged part cools fast in water. However, the upper section wound on the surface winch drum in air is the thermal bottleneck. Under DIN VDE 0298-4 (2026) at 30 deg C air, a 3-core 50 mm2 (6/10 kV) rubber cable has a reeling base current (I₀) of 185 A (and 207 A in free air or cool water).
Submersible winch drum ampacity derating is the thermal sizing formula under DIN VDE 0298-4 that multiplies the surface reeling base current (I₀) by a drum layer factor (k₁) and an air temperature factor (k₂).
Iz = I₀ × k₁ × k₂.

When the upper cable length remains wound in layers on the surface winch drum during pumping, apply the layer factor k₁. Under DIN VDE 0298-4 Table 24, k₁ equals 80% for 1 layer, 61% for 2 layers, 49% for 3 layers, 42% for 4 layers, and 38% for 5 layers (DIN VDE 0298-4, 2026).

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ).
What does the designation (N)TSCGECWOU Submersible 6/10 kV 3x50+3x25/3 mean under DIN VDE 0250-813?
In German VDE codes, (N) indicates national standard adaptation (DIN VDE 0250-813), TSC denotes a heavy-duty medium-voltage reeling cable, and GE specifies triple-extruded EPR insulation with semi-con layers. C represents copper wire screens on each phase core, W indicates water-resistant submersible construction, O denotes an anti-torsion braid, and U specifies a flame-retardant, oil-resistant CM / 5GM5 outer sheath.
How can this cable operate at 300 m water depth without moisture entering the 6/10 kV insulation?
The cable uses a dual-barrier water sealing design. Externally, the black chlorinated rubber (CM / 5GM5) outer jacket resists 300 m AD8 salt and acidic mine water (~3.0 MPa pressure). Internally, a pressure-extruded water-blocking EPR inner sheath (Layer 04, shown at 0:28 and 0:58) fills the core valleys so moisture cannot migrate into the 3GI3 EPR insulation.
Why is the protective earth split into 3 x 25/3 mm2 cores instead of one 25 mm2 core?
Splitting the 25 mm2 protective earth into three equal 25/3 mm2 (8.33 mm2) cores lets them nest symmetrically inside the three outer valleys between the 50 mm2 phase cores (0:31 and 0:58). This symmetrical six-core layout keeps the outer diameter compact (47.2 mm nominal OD), balances bending stiffness over chute sheaves, and provides uniform ground fault coverage.
Can the 3x50+3x25/3 mm2 cable support its own weight across a free-hanging 300 m vertical drop?
No. Under DIN VDE 0250-813, the maximum dynamic pull on the three 50 mm2 phase cores is 20 N/mm2 (150 mm2 x 20 N/mm2 = 3,000 N or ~306 kgf). Because the cable weighs 3,000 kg/km (3.0 kg/m in air, ~1.7 kg/m in water), an unclamped 300 m drop exceeds 3,000 N. For vertical drops over 100 m, clamp the cable every 3 to 6 m to the steel riser pipe or hoist rope.
Does the 68-second video show live high-voltage laboratory testing or real production sample inspection?
The 68-second video combines 100% real 4K 60fps sample video and 4000x3000 macro photos (0:00 to 0:03 and 0:54 to 1:02 per TEBAOFLEX Video Log, 2026) with schematic 3D animations (0:03 to 0:54). The real bench footage verifies the razor-cut 3x50+3x25/3 mm2 cross-section, the 47.2 mm OD black CM jacket, and the factory tag dated 2026.4.29. Batch FAT reports (17 kV AC 5-min test and < 40 pC PD) accompany production orders.
