Flexible Power Cables

IEEE 1580 Type PMarine and Offshore Cable

IEEE 1580 Type P is a marine and offshore cable family for power, control, instrumentation, and dedicated VFD circuits rated 2 kV or below. Common products use high-strand-count tinned-copper conductors, cross-linked flame-retardant polyolefin insulation, a thermosetting jacket, and optional basket-weave metallic armour. Voltage, armour, outer sheath, fire performance, approvals, and environmental resistance depend on the selected construction.

In-house capability

In-house design

Constructions are designed around movement, environment, and electrical duty.

In-house manufacturing

Materials, dimensions, marking, and finish held under in-house manufacturing control.

Laboratory verification

In-house laboratory checks verify the agreed construction and project acceptance requirements.

Custom-to-spec · OEM / ODM

Development can start from a drawing, specification, cable marking, or physical sample.

Source review

Family profile only. Third-party ICC PDFs are excluded; exact construction and compliance require a vetted TEBAOFLEX document.

Before you quote

Clear the questions that hold up your quote.

Short answers for engineering and procurement. The reviewed quotation and its document list govern the final supply scope.

What is IEEE 1580 Type P cable?
Type P is a low-voltage marine and offshore cable family using cross-linked flame-retardant polyolefin insulation, with power, control, instrumentation, and dedicated VFD constructions.
Is every IEEE 1580 cable Type P?
No. Type P is one low-voltage insulation family; related medium-voltage and low-smoke cable types use different designations and compounds.
What is the minimum order quantity?
MOQ depends on conductor size, construction, production batch, and reel length. Send the required size and total length; the quotation will state the applicable minimum quantity and packaging basis.
How quickly can the cable be delivered?
Lead time varies with material availability, construction, quantity, document scope, and destination. After the specification is reviewed, the quotation will provide a production window and an indicative shipment schedule.
How are destination-market standards and documents reviewed?
Tell us the destination market, governing standard, and end-user document requirements. They are reviewed against the selected product and available product documents; applicability is confirmed in the quotation.
Can length, sheath colour, printing, or packaging be customized?
These options can be reviewed subject to engineering suitability, regulatory requirements, MOQ, and production capability. Any approved change is recorded in the quoted specification, drawing, or order document.
