Trailing & towing
Primary duty: heavy-duty mobile trailing power and control feeders for underground mining drills, loaders, roadheaders and pumps.
Product
Heavy-duty 0.69/1.15 kV (640/1100 V) screened rubber mining and trailing cable (TRM-J) to DIN VDE 0250-812, featuring Class 5 tinned copper cores, 3GI3 EPR insulation, ≥ 90 % tinned copper braid screen, and yellow 5GM3 rubber outer sheath.
Typical values for this cable type, based on DIN VDE 0250-812 — confirmed in the datasheet and quotation for your order.
Application fit
TRM-J combines an extruded EI4 rubber inner bedding, a ≥ 90 % coverage tinned copper concentric braid screen and a heavy-duty yellow 5GM3 outer sheath, providing earth-leakage fault protection if crushed or cut in underground mines, quarries and tunnel drives.
Primary duty: heavy-duty mobile trailing power and control feeders for underground mining drills, loaders, roadheaders and pumps.
Suitable for slow-to-medium speed horizontal cable reels on mining and quarry equipment up to 15 N/mm².
Can be suspended on heavy industrial and tunnel festoon hooks at ≥ 10 × D bending radius.
For high-speed container crane reels or vertical spreader baskets, select a dedicated crane reeling cable.
Use RXG / RXG-D (N)SHTOEU-J for high-speed reelsFlexible unarmoured trailing construction — do not suspend in deep vertical mine shafts without support.
Use BS 6708 Type 20/21 ArmouredConstruction
