Switchgear & control cabinet wiring
Primary single-core hook-up and power wire for onboard traction cubicles, battery boxes and HVAC panels.
Product
EN 50264-2-1 (codes FF 1.8/3kV or F 0.6/1kV, formerly NSGAFÖU railway replacement) is a standard-wall single-core power and control cable for railway rolling stock. Built with a Class 5 tinned fine-stranded copper conductor and electron-beam cross-linked halog
Typical values for this cable type, based on EN 50264-2-1 / EN 45545-2 HL3 — confirmed in the datasheet and quotation for your order.
Application fit
Specified for high-speed trains, underground metro cars, light-rail trams and electric/diesel locomotives inside traction converters, auxiliary inverters, switchgear cubicles, bogie junction boxes and underframe conduits.
Primary single-core hook-up and power wire for onboard traction cubicles, battery boxes and HVAC panels.
1.8/3 kV standard-wall construction provides inherent short-circuit and earth-fault protection in metal ducts.
Cross-linked EI 103/104 elastomer withstands +250 °C (5 s) short-circuit faults and transformer/gear oils.
Designed for protected fixed installation inside rolling stock; for inter-car jumpers use multistrand sheathed EN 50264-2-2.
