Application fit
RG and RG-D are built for standard-duty motorized and spring-driven monospiral and level-wind cable reels up to 120 m/min on bulk material handling equipment, including stacker/reclaimers, shiploaders, bucket-wheel excavators, and sulfur/urea chemical plants.
Primary duty up to 120 m/min on stacker/reclaimers, shiploaders, bucket-wheel excavators, and bulk handling plant.
Suitable for motor-driven and spring-driven cylindrical multi-layer reels with 0.80–0.38 layer derating per DIN VDE 0298-4.
Standard 15 N/mm² horizontal reeling design; for severe vertical spreader reeling up to 240 m/min use RXG / RXG-D or RXX.
RXG / RXG-D Heavy-Duty PCP Reeling CableMinimum roller bending radius 7.5 × D and minimum distance ≥ 20 × D between two changes of bending direction.
Resistant to outdoor rain, humidity, sulfur, and urea, but not rated for continuous submerged service.
RXX / RXX-D (rated up to 50 m water depth)Construction
Shown: RG / RG-D (N)SHTOEU-J reeling construction with Class 5 tinned copper conductors, EPR core insulation, optional individually copper-screened RG-D data cores, PCP inner sheath, embedded anti-torsion textile braid, and black abrasion-resistant PCP outer sheath.

| 3 | Individual data core screen (RG-D only) | Braided copper screen ('C') over individual 1.0 mm² or 1.5 mm² signal/data coresShields sensitive control and feedback signals from power switching transients |
| 4 | Multi-layer core stranding | Cores laid up in concentric layers (maximum 3 layers) with short lay lengthBalances axial tensile load across active conductors during reeling |
| 5 | Inner sheath | Polychloroprene (PCP, 5GM3) rubber compound per DIN VDE 0250Forms a round, pressure-stabilized core bed beneath the anti-torsion braid |
| 6 | Embedded anti-torsion braid | High-strength synthetic textile braid vulcanized between inner and outer PCP sheathsSandwich double-sheath design suppresses twist over guide sheaves and S-curves |
| 7 | Outer sheath | Abrasion- and oil-resistant polychloroprene (PCP, 5GM3) rubber compound, blackResistant to oil, UV, ozone, humidity, sulfur, and urea · low flammability per IEC 60332-1 |
