Fixed installation
Primary European OEM engine-compartment and powertrain harness wire.
Product
FLR2X-A and FLR2X-B are ISO 6722-1 Class C (-40 °C to +125 °C) reduced-wall automotive primary wires insulated with electron-beam or silane cross-linked polyethylene ('2X' = XLPE / VPE). Thermoset cross-linking prevents melting under +250 °C short-circuit over
Typical values for this cable type, based on ISO 6722-1 Class C / DIN 72551 / LV 112 — confirmed in the datasheet and quotation for your order.
Application fit
Specified for engine-compartment harnesses, cylinder-head sensor looms, starter/alternator leads, transmission wiring and EV power electronics where +125 °C thermal endurance, halogen-free safety and thermoset pinch resistance are mandatory.
Primary European OEM engine-compartment and powertrain harness wire.
FLR reduced-wall dimensions fit standard MQS, MCP and sealed automotive terminals.
Thermoset XLPE insulation will not melt or flow during short-circuit current spikes.
Rated to +125 °C continuous; above +125 °C select FLR7Y (+150 °C) or FLR6Y/FLR5Y (+180/+200 °C).
FLR7Y +150 °C ETFE wireConstruction
Soft annealed bare copper (Cu-ETP1, Type A concentric or Type B bunched) + reduced-wall radiation/silane cross-linked halogen-free polyethylene (2X / XLPE, -40 to +125 °C).
