Switchgear & control cabinet wiring
Compact 2.79 mm diameter routes effortlessly through tight instrument enclosures and dashboards.
Product
RG-174 (RG-174/U and RG-174A/U, MIL-DTL-17/119) is a miniature, highly flexible 50 Ω coaxial cable with a 2.79 mm outer diameter for GNSS/GPS active antennas, cellular/IoT pigtails, automotive FAKRA harnesses, and test instrument leads up to 1000 MHz.
Typical values for this cable type, based on MIL-DTL-17/119-RG174 (M17/196) — confirmed in the datasheet and quotation for your order.
Application fit
Designed for compact antenna pigtails (SMA, SMB, FAKRA, BNC, MCX), vehicle GNSS/LTE roof-sharkfin leads, medical sensor probes, and oscilloscope patch cords.
Compact 2.79 mm diameter routes effortlessly through tight instrument enclosures and dashboards.
7-strand 26 AWG conductor and matte PVC jacket provide supple handling for laboratory test leads.
Widely used for automotive telematics harnesses, GNSS receiver feeders, and telemetry cabinets.
Solid PE dielectric softens above +85 °C; specify PTFE/FEP RG-316 for +200 °C or high-frequency > 1 GHz.
