Switchgear & control cabinet wiring
Ideal for high-temperature military transceivers, radar T/R modules, and ovenized crystal oscillators.
Product
RG-188A/U (MIL-C-17 / M17/67) is a 50 Ω miniature fluoropolymer coaxial cable rated from -55 °C to +250 °C across DC to 3 GHz. Built with a 26 AWG (7×0.17 mm) silver-plated copper-clad steel center conductor, Ø 1.52 mm solid PTFE dielectric, 95 %
Typical values for this cable type, based on MIL-DTL-17 (RG-188A/U / M17/67) — confirmed in the datasheet and quotation for your order.
Application fit
Selected over RG-316 when ambient temperatures reach +200 °C to +250 °C or when ultra-low-outgassing all-PTFE construction is required inside aerospace, engine nacelles, and vacuum RF systems.
Ideal for high-temperature military transceivers, radar T/R modules, and ovenized crystal oscillators.
Sintered white PTFE tape jacket sustains +250 °C continuous service (+50 °C above FEP RG-316).
Resistant to jet fuels, hydraulic fluids, and high-altitude thermal cycling.
Tape-wrapped PTFE jacket is not designed for continuous linear drag-chain travel.
