Trailing & towing
NTSWÖU-J (25–185 mm²) is a heavy-duty 0.6/1 kV trailing power supply cable for tunnel drives, headings and mobile mine switchgear.
Product
DIN VDE 0250-813 NTSWÖU-J and NTSWÖU 0.6/1 kV (3 kV AC test) heavy-duty tunnel trailing and underground E-Loader reeling cables (25–185 mm²) with 3GI3 EPR insulation, GM1b inner sheath and yellow or black 5GM5 outer sheath.
Application fit
Designed for 0.6/1 kV underground mining, tunnel construction, crane power feeds and battery/trolley or cable-reeled electric LHD loaders (E-Loaders) where severe rock abrasion, guide-pulley bending, impact and wet headings demand a dual-sheathed GM1b + 5GM5 elastomer cable.
NTSWÖU-J (25–185 mm²) is a heavy-duty 0.6/1 kV trailing power supply cable for tunnel drives, headings and mobile mine switchgear.
NTSWÖU E-Loader (3×50/25KON+3×ST) uses Class 6 extra-flexible tinned copper and copper-steel braided armour for LHD loader reeling.
Withstands guide pulleys, cable cars and reverse bending loads in underground haulage drifts.
Rated for dry, damp and wet underground locations with oil-resistant (EN 60811-2-1) and flame-retardant 5GM5 outer sheath.
Flexible unarmoured trailing construction — do not suspend in deep vertical mine shafts without support.
Use BS 6708 Type 20/21 ArmouredConstruction
Three flexible tinned copper phase conductors (Class 5 on NTSWÖU-J; Class 6 on NTSWÖU E-Loader) insulated with Type 3GI3 EPR rubber are laid up in contact with three split interstitial protective earth conductors (NTSWÖU-J) or three braided pilot cores (E-Loader), enclosed by a Type GM1b rubber inner sheath, an optional tensile-resistant copper/galvanised-steel braided concentric earth armour (25KON on E-Loader), and a heavy-duty yellow or black Type 5GM5 chlorinated rubber outer sheath.
