VFD inverter to AC motor screened feeder
Low-permittivity XLPE cores and dual foil+braid screen limit PWM capacitive charging spikes and bearing currents.
Product
Double-screened 0.6/1 kV VFD motor supply cable with low-capacitance XLPE (2X) insulation (+90 °C), 100 % Al/PET foil plus ≥ 85 % tinned-copper braid screen, and UV/direct-burial black PVC sheath (K) in 4G and symmetric 3+3G designs.
Typical values for this cable type, based on DIN VDE 0276-603 · IEC 60502-1 · EN 61800-3 — confirmed in the datasheet and quotation for your order.
Application fit
Select 2XSLCYK-J for fixed or occasionally flexed inverter-fed AC motor circuits requiring +90 °C XLPE ampacity and EN 61800-3 EMC compliance.
Low-permittivity XLPE cores and dual foil+braid screen limit PWM capacitive charging spikes and bearing currents.
Symmetrical 3+3G construction balances phase impedance and provides 360° EMC gland earthing on large drives.
Reinforced black K-grade PVC jacket permits indoor cable trays, outdoor racks, and direct burial in ducts.
Suitable only for occasional flexing (15 × D); use PUR drag-chain servo cables for continuous carrier cycles.
Use Festoonflex C PUR-HFPVC outer sheath and foil screen are not designed for continuous motorised drum reeling under tension.
