Drilling jumbo & rotary mast feed
Runs through grease-injection pressure control heads and wellhead sheaves up to 8,000 m depth.
Product
Mono Conductor Wireline (1N22, 1N32 & 1N38) cased-hole electromechanical logging and perforating cable with a stranded tinned-copper conductor, polypropylene/ETFE/PFA high-temp dielectric, and torque-balanced double contra-helical.
Typical values for this cable type, based on API RP 9B / ASTM A475 (GIPS/UHS) / NACE MR0175 — confirmed in the datasheet and quotation for your order.
Application fit
Industry-standard mono-conductor electromechanical wireline for cased-hole production logging (PLT), gamma/CCL depth correlation, plug setting and shaped-charge perforating.
Runs through grease-injection pressure control heads and wellhead sheaves up to 8,000 m depth.
Preformed, stress-relieved contra-helical armour layers eliminate birdcaging and untwisting under vertical load.
Withstands up to 140 MPa (20,000 psi) hydrostatic wellbore pressure and completion brines.
High-tensile bare steel downhole wireline; not for industrial cable drag chains.
Use Enviro-Lite Hybrid E-LineConstruction
Mono Conductor Wireline (1N22 / 1N32 / 1N38) showing compacted tinned copper centre conductor, extruded Polypropylene / ETFE / PFA dielectric, and inner + outer contra-helically stranded GIPS/UHS galvanized steel armour wires.
| # | Layer | Material & reference |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Compacted tinned copper centre conductor | 7-strand or 19-strand compacted tinned annealed copper wire (18 AWG to 12 AWG) with void-filling corrosion inhibitorPrevents longitudinal downhole gas migration along strands |
| 2 | High-pressure downhole dielectric | Copolymer Polypropylene (-40 to +105 °C), ETFE (-55 to +165 °C), or PFA fluoropolymer (-55 to +260 °C)≥ 15,000 MΩ·km insulation resistance @ 500 V DC |
| 3 | Inner helical GIPS / UHS armour layer | 12 to 18 galvanized improved plow steel (GIPS) or ultra-high-strength (UHS) wires (right-hand lay)Preformed & stress-relieved for torque balance |
| 4 | Outer contra-helical GIPS / UHS / Alloy armour | 18 to 24 contra-helical GIPS/UHS galvanized steel wires (or 27-7MO super-austenitic stainless for sour H₂S)Serves as tensile load bearer and electrical ground return |
Compact cased-hole & coiled-tubing mono-cable (21.4 kN GIPS / 25.8 kN UHS breaking load)
Workhorse cased-hole logging & perforating mono-cable (44.0 kN GIPS / 53.4 kN UHS breaking load)
Heavy-duty deep-well perforating & fishing mono-cable (62.3 kN GIPS / 73.0 kN UHS breaking load)
