Fixed installation
Installed inside double-containment chemical carrier pipes, valve boxes, wet-bench drip pans and chemical trenches.
Product
TraceTek TT3000 Acid, Base and Corrosive Chemical Leak Detection Sensing Cable engineered with an all-fluoropolymer core, two chemical-resistant conductive-fluoropolymer sensing electrodes (~20 Ω/m), two fluoropolymer reference wires.
Typical values for this cable type, based on SEMI S2 / NFPA 262 / UL 910 — confirmed in the datasheet and quotation for your order.
Application fit
Industry benchmark for semiconductor fab sub-floors, battery electrolyte lines, chemical double-containment piping and acid neutralization sumps where corrosive leaks would dissolve standard polymer or bare-metal sensors.
Installed inside double-containment chemical carrier pipes, valve boxes, wet-bench drip pans and chemical trenches.
Fluoropolymer wicking outer braid draws viscous concentrated acids (such as 98 % H₂SO₄ or 50 % NaOH) onto the sensing electrodes.
Routes into cleanroom chemical distribution modules (CDMs), slurry cabinets and BMS leak panels.
Static chemical containment leak sensor; not for moving machinery drag chains.

| # | Layer | Material & reference |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 2 × fluoropolymer-insulated copper reference wires | 2 × 26 AWG stranded tinned/nickel copper conductors with pinhole-free fluoropolymer primary insulationHermetically shields copper from acid attack while providing loop continuity |
| 2 | Fluted green fluoropolymer central support core | Chemically inert perfluorinated/fluoropolymer central spline maintaining exact 4-wire helical geometryWithstands concentrated mineral acids, caustics and oxidizers |
| 3 | 2 × carbon-fluoropolymer chemical sensing electrodes | 2 × conductive-fluoropolymer jacketed sensing wires calibrated to ~20.0 Ω/m linear resistanceDetects any conductive acid, base, etching bath or deionized water with trace ions |
| 4 | Capillary-wicking fluoropolymer outer overbraid | Specially treated open-weave fluoropolymer monofilament braid (distinctive Green/Black tracer)Overcomes high surface tension of viscous acids (H₂SO₄, H₃PO₄) for fast alarm |
