Motor stator, traction & converter leads
Primary +125 °C heavy-duty starter motor and high-output alternator lead for Class 8 trucks and excavators
Product
SGX is a heavy-duty SAE J1127 Type SGX starter and ground battery cable engineered for 60 V DC commercial vehicles, heavy-duty trucks, construction machinery, and marine engine rooms operating up to +125 °C. Constructed with rope-lay annealed bare copper condu
Typical values for this cable type, based on SAE J1127 — confirmed in the datasheet and quotation for your order.
Application fit
Used for high-temperature 12 V / 24 V / 48 V DC starter and ground circuits in Class 8 highway trucks, mining haul trucks, military vehicles, and marine diesel engines.
Primary +125 °C heavy-duty starter motor and high-output alternator lead for Class 8 trucks and excavators
Ideal for chassis frame routing near hot exhaust after-treatment systems and turbochargers
Suitable for clamped battery distribution harnesses on heavy-duty vehicles and marine engines
Suitable for vehicle battery harnesses; for extra-limp rubber battery leads use SGR
Not designed for continuous industrial drag-chain cycling

Routes multiple 2/0 AWG or 3/0 AWG battery cables from frame-mounted battery boxes into hot engine compartments.
Provides superior pinch and abrasion resistance against steel chassis brackets and rock debris under +125 °C ambient conditions.
Thermoset XLPE insulation will not melt back or shrink away when torch-soldering or hot-crimping heavy copper battery lugs.
