Trailing & towing
5.5 mm extra-heavy-duty yellow TPU jacket resists extreme rock cut, tear, impact and haul-road abrasion in surface and underground mines.
Product
Medium-voltage 3-conductor portable trailing and reeling cable (6/10, 8.7/15 and 14/25 kV, 50–185 mm²) based on DIN VDE 0250-813 and IEC 60502, featuring 3 EPR phase cores, 2 grounding conductors, 1 yellow PP ground-check core and a 5.5 mm yellow TPU jacket.
Application fit
Built for heavy mobile equipment in surface and underground mines and quarries—electric shovels, draglines, continuous miners, shuttle cars, loaders, dredges and blast-hole drills—where SHD-GC-style ground-check continuity (3P + 2G + 1GC) is combined with VDE/IEC metric tinned copper stranding and a 5.5 mm thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) jacket.
5.5 mm extra-heavy-duty yellow TPU jacket resists extreme rock cut, tear, impact and haul-road abrasion in surface and underground mines.
Tight ≥ 7.5 × D drum reeling bend radius and integral filled jacket (on RIT series) support continuous reeling on shuttle cars and loaders.
Suitable for dry, moist and flooded underground headings, dredge pontoons and outdoor pit sites down to −30 °C.
Heavy 53–86 mm OD round mining trailing construction is not designed for overhead festoon trolleys.
