Fixed installation
Direct drop-in replacement for FLRY in cold-climate vehicle harnesses.
Product
FLRYK ('YK' = Kälteflexibles PVC) is a cold-flexible reduced-wall automotive primary wire engineered to extend low-temperature flexibility down to -50 °C while maintaining ISO 6722-1 Class B (+105 °C) continuous thermal rating. Formulated with low-temperature
Typical values for this cable type, based on ISO 6722-1 Class B / DIN 72551 / LV 112 — confirmed in the datasheet and quotation for your order.
Application fit
Specified for Nordic/arctic commercial vehicles, snowploughs, cold-storage logistics trucks, tailgate/door transition bellows and exterior chassis sensors operating down to -50 °C.
Direct drop-in replacement for FLRY in cold-climate vehicle harnesses.
Standard FLR outer diameters fit all European single-wire seals and terminal crimps.
Remains supple in door, liftgate and cab-tilt flexing boots at sub-zero temperatures.
Rated to +105 °C; for combined -50 °C cold-flex and +125 °C heat resistance specify FLRYWK.
FLRYWK -50 to +125 °C wireConstruction
Fine-stranded soft annealed bare copper (Cu-ETP1) + reduced-wall cold-flexible Class B PVC compound (YK, -50 to +105 °C) + smooth colour/stripe finish.
| # | Layer | Material & reference |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Cu-ETP1 bare copper (Type A or B) | Soft annealed electrolytic copper in Type A concentric or Type B fine-stranded bunched constructionISO 6722-1 |
| 2 | Cold-flexible PVC insulation (YK) | Lead-free PVC plasticized with low-glass-transition-temperature esters for -50 °C to +105 °C operationISO 6722-1 |
| 3 | Low-friction colour/stripe surface | Supple sub-zero outer surface with permanent colour and tracer stripe identificationDIN 72551 |
Symmetrical 7/19-wire concentric conductor with -50 °C cold-flexible PVC wall for sealed exterior connectors.
Fine bunched copper conductor with -50 °C cold-flexible PVC wall for door boots and cold-climate looms.
