Fixed installation
Primary duty — fixed straight-run pipe, tank and column heat tracing controlled by surface RTD or thermostat.
Product
Industrial zone-parallel constant-wattage heating cable (RDP / HDP) to IEC/IEEE 60079-30-1, IEC 62395-1 and IEEE 515, with a NiCr 80/20 heating coil wound over 2.5–3.3 mm² fluoropolymer-insulated bus wires for +150 to +205 °C maintain.
Typical values for this cable type, based on IEC/IEEE 60079-30-1 & IEEE 515 — confirmed in the datasheet and quotation for your order.
Application fit
Zero-inrush, uniform-output zone-parallel constant-wattage heating tape for high-temperature process pipes, vessels and transfer lines requiring exact W/m control up to +205 °C.
Primary duty — fixed straight-run pipe, tank and column heat tracing controlled by surface RTD or thermostat.
Extruded PFA/FEP outer sheath resists offshore salt spray, sour gas condensate, acids and hydrocarbon washdown.
Fluoropolymer HDP insulation is limited to +250 °C exposure; never self-overlap or use above +250 °C.
Use MI Heating CableFixed pipe tracing cable with welded zone nodes; unsuitable for reeling drums.
Use (N)SHTÖU ReelingDesigned exclusively for fixed routing under thermal cladding, not mobile trailing duty.
Use H07RN-F RubberConstruction
Two parallel 2.5 mm² or 3.3 mm² (12 AWG) stranded tinned/nickel-plated copper bus wires are individually insulated with FEP, PFA or silicone rubber; a nichrome (NiCr 80/20) resistance heating wire is spirally wound over the pair and welded to alternating bus conductors every 0.5–1.5 m to form independent parallel heating zones, then encapsulated in a fluoropolymer inner jacket, tinned-copper earthing braid and PFA/FEP outer sheath.
