Fixed installation
Routes along diesel engine blocks, frame rails, transmission housings and cab bulkheads.
Product
Type GXL (General Purpose Cross-Linked) is a regular-wall (0.58 mm on 20–14 AWG) 60 V DC (25 V AC) SAE J1128 primary wire insulated with cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) for -40 °C to +125 °C service. It provides higher cut-through, pinch and chafe margin than
Typical values for this cable type, based on SAE J1128 / ISO 6722-1 Class C — confirmed in the datasheet and quotation for your order.
Application fit
Specified for Class 8 heavy trucks, tractors, diesel engine harnesses, off-highway excavators, buses and industrial engine generator sets where vibration and abrasion require a thicker 0.58 mm XLPE wall.
Routes along diesel engine blocks, frame rails, transmission housings and cab bulkheads.
Thermoset XLPE insulation resists solder iron contact and short-circuit heating up to +250 °C.
Matches standard GPT outer diameters while upgrading thermal class from +85 °C to +125 °C.
Single-core automotive primary wire is for fixed harness looms only.
