Heavy 600 V 'S' wall (60 to 120 mil TPE jacket) withstands heavy industrial floor dragging and vehicle crush.
Product
Type SEOOW is a 600 V Extra-Hard-Usage flexible portable power cable manufactured to UL 62 and CSA C22.2 No. 49. Built with rope-bunch stranded ASTM B174 bare copper conductors (18 AWG up to heavy 2 AWG, 2 to 5 cores), oil-resistant Thermoplastic Elastomer ('E
Typical values for this cable type, based on UL 62 / CSA C22.2 No. 49 / NEC Art. 400 — confirmed in the datasheet and quotation for your order.
Application fit
Specified for 480 V / 600 V 3-phase industrial machinery drops, portable power distribution spider boxes, dockside shore power, crane festoons, motorized cable reels and arctic oilfield/mining equipment.
Heavy 600 V 'S' wall (60 to 120 mil TPE jacket) withstands heavy industrial floor dragging and vehicle crush.
Low-weight TPE construction and -50 °C flexibility excel on spring and motorized industrial power reels.
Widely used on C-track and I-beam crane festoon systems requiring 600 V oil- and weatherproof cords.
Feeds 480 V and 600 V portable pumps, compressors, welders and temporary generator distribution panels.
Construction
ASTM B174 / B3 flexible bunch- or rope-stranded bare copper (18 to 2 AWG) + heavy-wall 600 V oil-resistant TPE core insulation + non-wicking fillers + heavy-duty oil-, sunlight- and water-resistant TPE outer jacket (-50 to +105 °C).
| # | Layer | Material & reference |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Flexible bunch / rope-stranded copper | Annealed bare copper (30 AWG wires in 18–10 AWG; rope-lay in 8–2 AWG) per UL 62ASTM B174 |
| 2 | 600 V oil-resistant TPE insulation (E + O) | Heavy-wall (0.76 to 1.52 mm) 105 °C / -50 °C thermoplastic elastomer core insulationUL 62 |
| 3 | Non-wicking fibrillated fillers & binder | Absorbs tensile and torsional stresses while maintaining roundness for cord gripsUL 62 |
| 4 | Extra-hard-usage TPE jacket (O + W) | Heavy-wall (1.52 to 3.05 mm) oil-, UV-, chemical- and abrasion-resistant TPE outer sheathUL 62 |
600 V Extra-Hard-Usage TPE cord for 480/600 V machine drops, pendants, festoons and cord reels.
High-ampacity (40 A to 95 A) 600 V portable feeder cable for generator spider boxes, welders and mobile substations.
