Fixed installation
Deep-tube and sub-surface underground train car-body, traction auxiliary, door and signalling wiring.
Product
Sub-surface and deep-tube railway rolling-stock wire and multicore cable family built to London Underground Limited `RSE/STD/024 Part 6` (`LUL S1085` / BS 6853 Category 1a / EN 45545-2 HL3) with Class 5 tinned copper conductors and cross-linked LSZH elastomer.
Typical values for this cable type, based on LUL RSE/STD/024 Part 6 · BS 6853 Cat. 1a / EN 45545-2 HL3 — confirmed in the datasheet and quotation for your order.
Application fit
Engineered for the confined single-bore deep-tube tunnels of the London Underground network, the `RSE/STD/024 Part 6` cable family meets the ultra-stringent smoke absorbance (`Ao`) and toxic fume (`R < 1.0`) limits of `BS 6853 Category 1a` and `LUL S1085` alongside `EN 45545-2 HL3`.
Deep-tube and sub-surface underground train car-body, traction auxiliary, door and signalling wiring.
Available with tinned-copper wire braid screen for EMC-protected underground train control and comms.
Suitable for inter-car jumpers and bogie-to-body vibration; not for floor dragging.
Use EN 50264-2-2For mainland European TSI rolling stock without LUL-specific coding, select EN 50264-3-2 or EN 50306-4.
Use EN 50264-3-2Construction
