Fixed installation
Inter-car jumpers, door controls, HVAC, lighting, brake sensors and auxiliary power in passenger rail.
Product
Compact reduced-wall railway rolling-stock multicore (`MM`) and tinned-Cu braid screened (`MMS`) cable to EN 50264-3-2 and EN 45545-2 HL3 with Class 5 tinned copper conductors, e-beam cross-linked EI 109 core insulation and oil/fuel-resistant EM 104 sheath.
Typical values for this cable type, based on EN 50264-3-2 / EN 45545-2 HL1–HL3 — confirmed in the datasheet and quotation for your order.
Application fit
EN 50264-3-2 cabled with reduced-wall `EN 50264-3-1` (`EI 109`) cores inside an `EM 104` cross-linked outer sheath cuts multicore bundle diameter and mass by ~20–25 % compared with standard-wall `EN 50264-2-2`, easing routing through tight coach ducts and Harting/circular connectors.
Inter-car jumpers, door controls, HVAC, lighting, brake sensors and auxiliary power in passenger rail.
MMS screened version with ≥ 80 % tinned-copper braid provides EN 50121-3-2 EMC immunity.
Designed for rolling-stock vibration and inter-cubicle routing; not for ground-drag trailing.
Use EN 50264-2-2For 300 V ultra-thin-wall signal and twisted-pair harnesses, select EN 50306-4.
