Fixed installation
Lighter and smaller-diameter than Double Wire Armour (Type 1023/1024) for horizontal roadway messenger hooks.
Product
MGM 109 Type 1012 / 1013 / 1014 Single-Armoured LV Feeder Cable is manufactured to British Coal Specification MGM 109 and BS 6708 for 640/1100 V fixed horizontal roadway distribution, lighting transformers, and auxiliary pump/fan circuits in underground
Typical values for this cable type, based on British Coal MGM 109 / BS 6708 (Type 1012 / 1013 / 1014 LV SWA) — confirmed in the datasheet and quotation for your order.
Application fit
Engineered for horizontal underground mine roadways, sub-main gate-end box interconnectors, lighting/signalling transformers, and surface colliery preparation plants where single-wire armour
Lighter and smaller-diameter than Double Wire Armour (Type 1023/1024) for horizontal roadway messenger hooks.
Terminates into BS 6708 flameproof (Ex d) single-wire-armour mining glands and half-couplers.
Extruded PVC inner bedding and outer sheath seal the SWA against roadway groundwater and stone dust.
Construction
Circular stranded tinned annealed copper conductors (BS EN 60228 Class 2, 2.5 to 185 mm²), 90 °C Type GP4 EPR insulation, extruded PVC
