Offshore platform & shipboard deck trays
Approved for fixed shipboard main propulsion, alternator-to-MSB feeders and heavy marine deck winches.
Product
SPYC LV (JIS C 3410) Single-Core Low-Voltage Shipboard Power Cable (0.6/1 kV) engineered with a stranded tinned annealed copper conductor (1.5 to 325 mm²), 90 °C EP-rubber (EPR) insulation, non-magnetic phosphor-bronze/brass wire.
Typical values for this cable type, based on JIS C 3410 / IEC 60092-353 / NK / Lloyd's — confirmed in the datasheet and quotation for your order.
Application fit
High-ampacity single-core main generator, switchboard bus-tie and bow-thruster feeder cable for Japanese/Asian-built bulk carriers, LNG carriers, container ships and offshore vessels.
Approved for fixed shipboard main propulsion, alternator-to-MSB feeders and heavy marine deck winches.
Non-magnetic copper-alloy wire braid armour prevents hysteresis and eddy-current overheating on single-core AC feeders.
Single-core flexibility allows tight bending into main switchboard (MSB) busbars and generator terminal boxes.
Fixed shipboard power feeder; for portable marine deck equipment use DPNP/TPNP/FPNP rubber cable.
Use DPNP / TPNP / FPNPConstruction

| # | Layer | Material & reference |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Stranded tinned annealed copper conductor ('S') | Circular stranded tinned copper per JIS C 3410 / IEC 60228 Class 2 (6.0 mm² to 325 mm²)'S' = Single-core shipboard feeder conductor |
| 2 | Ethylene Propylene Rubber ('P') primary insulation | 90 °C marine-grade EP-rubber (EPR) thermoset insulationHigh moisture and dielectric stability in humid engine rooms |
| 3 | Flame-retardant Vinyl ('Y') inner sheath | Extruded flame-retardant marine PVC bedding sheathSeals core against oil and bilge moisture |
| 4 | Non-magnetic phosphor-bronze/brass wire braid ('C') | Braided non-magnetic copper-alloy (bronze/brass) wire armour (or galvanized steel only on DC circuits)Prevents magnetic eddy-current loop heating on single-core AC runs |
| 5 | Protective marine paint or vinyl oversheath ('-Y') | Grey anti-corrosive marine coating over braid (SPYC) or extruded PVC outer jacket (SPYCY)IEC 60332-3-22 Cat A bunched flame retardant |
