Fixed installation
Supple Class 5 tinned copper conductors and elastomeric EPR/SW4 compounds allow tight 6 × OD routing inside offshore modules and cabinets.
Product
Fixed offshore installation instrumentation cable built to BS 6883 and UKOOA (Type UCS Code GF and Type UIS Code GH) with Class 5 tinned copper conductors, +90 °C EPR GP4 insulation, Al/PET screen and heavy-duty SW4 oil-resistant LSZH elastomer sheath.
Typical values for this cable type, based on BS 6883 / UKOOA (Codes GF & GH) / BS 7655 / IEC 60332-3-22 — confirmed in the datasheet and quotation for your order.
Application fit
Engineered for internal accommodation modules, control rooms, switchgear rooms and sheltered deck trays on fixed offshore oil & gas platforms, FPSOs and drilling rigs where steel/bronze wire braid armour (Type WBIS/WBCS) is not required.
Supple Class 5 tinned copper conductors and elastomeric EPR/SW4 compounds allow tight 6 × OD routing inside offshore modules and cabinets.
Heavy-duty SW4 thermoset LSZH sheath resists North Sea salt spray, UV weathering, IRM 902/903 mineral oils and diesel fuel.
Unarmoured UIS/UCS cable; for exposed open-deck mechanical hazards specify wire-braid armoured BS 6883 WBIS/WBCS.
RE-2Y(st)Y SWAY Armoured CableDesigned for fixed offshore module and shipboard installation, not continuous drag chains.
