Product
BS 7629-1 is the benchmark UK 300/500 V screened fire-resistant cable for BS 5839-1 fire detection, voice evacuation and BS 5266-1 emergency lighting systems. Constructed with Damage-Resistant Insudite/silicone-mica insulation, laminated aluminium/copolymer sc
Typical values for this cable type, based on BS 7629-1 / BS 5839-1 — confirmed in the datasheet and quotation for your order.
Application fit
Specified across commercial buildings, hospitals, schools, airports and rail stations for addressable fire alarm loops, sounder/beacon circuits, voice alarm PA/VA lines and central-battery emergency lighting.
Direct clipping with metal P-clips, tray routing or trunking per BS 5839-1 Clause 26.
Terminates cleanly into addressable FACP loop cards, Apollo/Hochiki detector bases and nylon/brass glands.
LTS3 zero-halogen low-smoke sheath satisfies underground station and escape corridor rules.
Solid Class 1 / stranded Class 2 conductors and bonded foil screen are for fixed installation only.
