SCGMS 19050 is the classic French underground mining cable specification established by Charbonnages de France (CdF). Within the 0.6/1 kV unscreened elastomeric series, 'Type 1A' designates 3-, 4- and 5-core flexible power feeder cables (1.5 to 150 mm²), while 'Type 1B' designates 7- to 19-core flexible auxiliary control and signalling cables.
