Furnace, kiln & high-temp zone
Outer E-glass fibre braid protects the high-voltage silicone core against radiant heat and hot metal contact in commercial ovens and kilns.
Product
UL AWM Style 3304 and Style 3573 fiberglass-reinforced high-voltage silicone ignition wire with tinned or nickel-plated copper conductors, extruded HV silicone dielectric, and a varnished E-glass braid for +200 °C burner and oven ignition.
Typical values for this cable type, based on UL 758 AWM Style 3304 & Style 3573 — confirmed in the datasheet and quotation for your order.
Application fit
Specify UL AWM 3304 / 3573 where high-voltage piezo or transformer ignition leads pass through sharp sheet-metal chassis openings and radiant burner heat up to +200 °C (+250 °C peak).
Outer E-glass fibre braid protects the high-voltage silicone core against radiant heat and hot metal contact in commercial ovens and kilns.
Braided fibreglass jacket resists cut-through and chafing against stamped sheet-metal brackets in gas ranges, water heaters, and boilers.
Maintains dielectric integrity even if extreme radiant heat chars the inner elastomer, as the glass braid preserves physical spacing.
Designed for fixed appliance and burner electrode harnesses, not dynamic reeling.
Use NSHTÖU for drum reelingConstruction
UL 758 Style 3304 / 3573 dual-layer build: stranded tinned or 27 % nickel-plated copper conductor, thick-wall HV silicone rubber, and varnished E-glass outer braid.
| # | Layer | Material & reference |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | High-temperature copper conductor | Stranded tinned copper (up to +180 °C) or 27 % nickel-plated copper (ASTM B355, +200/+250 °C)Reliable crimp retention for spark electrode pins and faston terminals |
| 2 | Extruded HV silicone dielectric | Void-free high-voltage silicone rubber (1.14 mm to 2.41 mm radial wall)Withstands 10 kV to 25 kV DC ignition pulses and 20–35 kV spark tests |
| 3 | E-glass fibre reinforcement braid | Tightly braided continuous-filament E-glass yarn over silicone corePrevents mechanical cut-through on appliance sheet metal and resists +500 °C radiant heat |
| 4 | High-temperature saturant finish | Silicone-resin or PTFE saturant over E-glass braidMinimises glass fibre fraying during high-speed automated stripping and crimping |
200 °C, 10 kV DC (3.5 kV AC) silicone + glass braid wire for commercial gas appliances
200 °C, 15 kV to 25 kV DC heavy-wall silicone + glass braid wire for industrial burner igniters
