Self-supporting pendant & push-button drop
Class M 34 AWG (0.16 mm) rope-lay stranding packs up to 12,000+ tinned copper strands (on 500 MCM) for unmatched whip flexibility.
Product
Super-Trex 600 V Heavy-Duty Flexible Welding & Power Cable (6 AWG to 500 MCM) engineered per UL 600 V Welding / Power Lead standards, CSA and NEC Article 630—combining ultra-fine Class M (34 AWG / 0.16 mm) rope-lay tinned copper.
Typical values for this cable type, based on UL Listed 600 V Welding / CSA C22.2 No. 96 / NEC Art. 630 — confirmed in the datasheet and quotation for your order.
Application fit
Unlike standard 100 V SAE J1127 bare-copper welding wire, this 600 V UL-rated Class M tinned-copper cable is code-compliant for both 600 V AC/DC temporary power feeders and extreme-duty welding stingers in steel mills, mines and shipyards.
Class M 34 AWG (0.16 mm) rope-lay stranding packs up to 12,000+ tinned copper strands (on 500 MCM) for unmatched whip flexibility.
Heavy-duty thermoset elastomer (TSE) jacket resists hot welding slag, metal chips, cutting fluids, diesel and forklift abrasion.
Rated a full 600 V for portable generator bus drops, crane magnet leads, load-bank test jumpers, UPS battery banks and VFD ground straps.
Tin-coated 34 AWG strands resist sulfur/moisture oxidation and eliminate copper blackening in humid marine and chemical atmospheres.
Construction
Super-Trex 600 V Heavy-Duty Flexible Welding Cable showing rope-lay Class M (34 AWG / 0.16 mm) tinned annealed copper conductor, polyester separator tape, and thick-wall 600 V thermoset elastomer (TSE) jacket with sequential foot markings.
| # | Layer | Material & reference |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Class M (34 AWG / 0.16 mm) rope-lay tinned copper conductor | Extra-fine 34 AWG (0.16 mm) tin-coated annealed copper wires bunched into multi-rope lay per ASTM B33 & ASTM B172 Class MTin coating prevents strand corrosion and doubles flex-fatigue life over bare Class K |
| 2 | Low-friction polyester separator tape | Helically wrapped Mylar/PET separator tape over the rope-lay tinned copperPrevents elastomer penetration into fine 34 AWG strands for fast lug termination |
| 3 | 600 V Heavy-Duty Thermoset Elastomer (TSE) jacket | Thick-wall cross-linked thermoset elastomer (CPE / PCP / EPDM blend) rated 600 V, -50 °C to +105 °C in Yellow, Orange, Black or Red25 % thicker wall than 100 V welding cable to pass 600 V UL dielectric and crush tests |
