Trailing & towing
Extra-thick Class 3 jacket withstands vehicle roll-over, gravel dragging, and steel-deck abrasion.
Product
3XSW and 3XSOW are Class 3 extra-hard-usage 600 V flexible portable power cords engineered with heavy-wall +90 °C cross-linked elastomer ('XS') insulation and an extra-thick weather/water ('W') and oil-resistant ('O') thermoset outer jacket for shipyards
Typical values for this cable type, based on UL 62 / CSA C22.2 No. 49 / ICEA S-75-381 — confirmed in the datasheet and quotation for your order.
Application fit
Built for extra-hard usage where portable power feeders are dragged across rough concrete, steel deck plates, gravel, and oily industrial floors or wound on heavy cord reels.
Extra-thick Class 3 jacket withstands vehicle roll-over, gravel dragging, and steel-deck abrasion.
High torsional and tear strength for motorized cable reels on dockside cranes and magnets.
Suitable for dockside temporary power jumpers, dry-dock welders, and barge feeders.
UL/CSA 'W' wet-location certified for flooded trenches, sumps, and outdoor washdown.
3XSOW resists drilling mud, diesel fuel, hydraulic oil, and sub-zero -40 °C temperatures.
