What does the '2XS' and '2XSO' designation stand for?
In thermoset portable cord nomenclature, '2' designates hard-usage Class 2 service (600 V), 'XS' specifies cross-linked synthetic elastomer insulation and outer jacketing rated for +90 °C, and the 'O' suffix in 2XSO indicates an oil-resistant outer jacket. How do 2XS and 2XSO perform compared with thermoplastic STOW or SJT cords?
