Free-hanging vertical run
Cross-linked EPR/HEPR insulation and 5GM5 / XL-EVA halogen-free jacket withstand ±100°/m to ±180°/m yaw drip-loop torsion at −40 °C.
Product
CU/EPR/HVXLEVA 0.6/1 kV Multi-Core LSZH Wind Turbine Yaw Loop Torsion Cable (IEC 60502-1 / EN 60228) engineered for 0.6/1 kV wind turbine service across -40 to +90 °C (min. bend radius 6 × OD).
Typical values for this cable type, based on IEC 60502-1 & EN 60228 Multi-Core Wind Yaw Torsion Specification — confirmed in the datasheet and quotation for your order.
Application fit
CU/EPR/HVXLEVA 0.6/1 kV Multi-Core LSZH Wind Turbine Yaw Loop Torsion Cable (IEC 60502-1 / EN 60228) engineered for 0.6/1 kV wind turbine service across -40 to +90 °C (min. bend radius 6 × OD).
Cross-linked EPR/HEPR insulation and 5GM5 / XL-EVA halogen-free jacket withstand ±100°/m to ±180°/m yaw drip-loop torsion at −40 °C.
IEC 60332-3 flame-retardant low-smoke zero-halogen (LSZH) outer sheath routes safely through vertical wind tower ladders and cleats.
Oil-, ozone-, UV- and salt-mist-resistant thermoset EVA/elastomer sheath endures both onshore and offshore wind nacelle environments.
Finely stranded IEC 60228 Class 5 copper or AA8000 Al-alloy conductors terminate cleanly into generator, converter and transformer lugs.
Wind turbine drip-loop torsion and fixed tower cables are not designed for high-speed horizontal crane reeling drums.
