Fixed installation
Direct embedment in concrete piles, diaphragm walls, dam foundations, and landslide boreholes.
Product
BRUsens BSSH V13 Heavy-Duty Armoured Strain-Sensing Fibre Cable with hermetically locked central stainless-steel tube, galvanized steel wire armour and structured PA/HDPE sheath for direct soil, concrete and geotechnical strain transfer.
Typical values for this cable type, based on IEC 61757-1-1 / IEC 60794-1-21 / ITU-T G.652.D — confirmed in the datasheet and quotation for your order.
Application fit
Mechanically locks the optical fibre to the stainless tube, wire armour and outer jacket so ground movement or concrete strain transfers 1:1 into Brillouin frequency shift.
Direct embedment in concrete piles, diaphragm walls, dam foundations, and landslide boreholes.
Shotcrete and segment lining strain monitoring in TBM tunnels and mined caverns.
Laser-welded 316L tube and HDPE/PA sheath withstand up to 15 MPa (150 bar) pore water pressure.
Rigidly coupled geotechnical strain sensor cable; not for dynamic cable carriers.
