Cylindrical / multi-layer drum
Supplied in bulk or on tactical reels (including CX-4566/G U-185/G assemblies) for rapid C4ISR shelter hookup and recovery.
Product
WM-130/G multi-pair neoprene-jacketed tactical switchboard cable (300 V, -55 to +80 °C, for CX-4566/G 26-pair trunks) with 6–26 twisted pairs (22/24 AWG tinned copper/alloy), PE/PP insulation, overall foil + braid shield, and arctic neoprene jacket.
Typical values for this cable type, based on U.S. Military CECOM / MIL-DTL-55021 / CX-4566 Cable WM-130/G Tactical Switchboard Trunk — confirmed in the datasheet and quotation for your order.
Application fit
Select WM-130/G for interconnecting tactical telephone switchboards (SB-22 / SB-3614 / TTC-39 / JNN shelters), J-1077/U distribution boxes, and multi-shelter command-post patch panels.
Supplied in bulk or on tactical reels (including CX-4566/G U-185/G assemblies) for rapid C4ISR shelter hookup and recovery.
Cold-flexible neoprene jacket stays supple to -55 °C and withstands mud, diesel/JP-8 fuel, between command shelters.
Staggered-lay twisted pairs inside an overall EMC shield isolate 26 voice and data channels from shelter generator and radar EMI.
Multi-pair trunk cable (320–490 kg/km); for lightweight single-pair or 2-pair forward infantry lines, use WD-1/TT or WF-16/U.
Use WF-16-U for lightweight 2-pair field runsConstruction
WM-130/G construction: 26 twisted pairs (52 conductors, plus 6/12/19-pair options) of 7- or 19-strand tinned copper / high-strength copper alloy (22 or 24 AWG), PE/PP insulation (standard telco 25-pair + binder colour code), core wrap, overall Al/PET + tinned copper braid shield, and black arctic polychloroprene jacket.
| # | Layer | Material & reference |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Stranded tinned copper / alloy pairs | 7- or 19-strand tinned annealed copper / cadmium-bronze alloy (22 AWG = 0.35 mm² or 24 AWG = 0.22 mm²)Withstands repeated coiling and termination onto U-185/G / U-186/G 52-pin military connectors |
| 2 | Low-loss PE / PP primary insulation | High-density polyethylene or polypropylene (26-pair standard Tip/Ring colour code)Thin, tough core wall keeps 26-pair cable diameter compact (~16.5–18.5 mm) and cold-flexible |
| 3 | Core bedding & moisture wrap | Non-hygroscopic polyester/fabric core binder tapeProtects the 26-pair bundle and prevents core pinching during tight reeling |
| 4 | Overall foil + tinned Cu braid shield | 100 % aluminum-polyester tape plus braided tinned copper wire shield (≥ 80–85 % coverage)Provides 360° EMI/EMP termination into military multi-pin connector backshells |
| 5 | Arctic polychloroprene (neoprene) jacket | Heavy-duty thermoset polychloroprene rubber compound (matte black, -55 °C to +80 °C)Impervious to JP-8 aviation fuel, diesel, hydraulic oils, solar UV, and sub-zero cracking |
Standard 26-pair (52-conductor) neoprene-jacketed tactical switchboard trunk cable for CX-4566/G assemblies
Compact 12-pair (24C) and 19-pair (38C) neoprene tactical switchboard and shelter distribution cables
