Application fit

Is IEC 60092-353 XAI right for your machine?

Combined subsea service connection for power, signals, optical elements or fluid lines. Component mix and mechanical design follow the project configuration.

Fixed installation

Suitable

Designed around the specified installation; select supports, bend protection and terminations together.

Immersion & wet locations

With conditions

Depth, pressure, fluid and temperature must be specified for immersion service.

Free-hanging vertical run

With conditions

Support and allowable suspended load are determined for the actual cable construction.

Cylindrical / multi-layer drum

With conditions

Repeated bending needs separate fatigue data; a flexible construction alone does not establish a cycle rating.

FAQ

Questions engineers ask first

Not covered here? Send your drawing — an engineer replies within 2 business hours.

What information is needed for selection?
State the application, circuit arrangement, required length and termination interfaces. For electrical circuits, include supply voltage, motor current and conductor size. Also describe fluid exposure, operating temperature, installation loads and any repeated movement. These inputs define the construction and the checks needed for the quoted configuration.
Do the illustrations define the supplied dimensions?
The gallery shows representative construction and is not drawn to scale. It does not define a supplied diameter, core size, connector interface or weight. Use the agreed construction drawing and order-specific technical schedule for installation clearances, terminations and handling calculations. Unverified dimensional values are deliberately left empty.
How are immersion and chemical conditions assessed?
Identify the actual medium, pressure, temperature and exposure duration rather than relying on a general water-resistant description. Include cleaning fluids, hydrocarbons or dissolved gases where relevant. Cable ends, joints and connector seals must be assessed with the cable. A material name alone does not establish a qualified immersion system.
Does a standard reference confirm product certification?
A design reference identifies the cable family or a relevant engineering method. It does not transfer another product’s certification, pressure qualification, drinking-water approval or hazardous-area rating. Required certificates and test scope must identify the exact supplied construction and assembly. Request these requirements explicitly so they can be addressed in the quotation.
Which technical documents are available?
Reference files are provided for project screening. Final parameters and the applicable document package are confirmed during quotation.
